General Discussion / Still Supporting
« Last post by Pul Wilks on March 15, 2015, 04:21:56 am »
Just to let everyone know that the services to enable 64-bit versions of windows 7, 8, 8.1 (and likely even Windows 10) to run Micrografx Windows Draw
(version 5 and 6), AutoCAD 2000 and LT 97 are still available for those that need it. If in doubt send an email to tmlair@hotmail.co.uk asking if this service is still available

If you no longer have the micrografx draw installation files check out this topic (http://windowsdraw.createaforum.com/support/obtaining-micrografx-draw/) you can buy the original disc then buy the guide, which will then help you get micrografx draw working on your pc. Don't worry if it says on sale page 'does not work on 64-bit windows', because that is what my service/guide is there for, obviously to fix that problem.

I would assume it does, Sierra Complete Publisher seems to be made in the same era. Its worth using that guide with Draw 7 too.

Assuming you have bought the guide, you must of missed that page saying that you must chose the where program should be installed otherwise you get that error.

During the setup you get an opportunity to choose where you want the program to be installed.

Near the end of the guide I believe there is a process where you can adjust registry so you can reinstall the program correctly.

If you have recently bought a new PC or a new operating system and found your copy of AutoCAD no longer installs check out this page, where you can get support on getting that program working again, you can email or even post on this forum for additional support doing this may also help others if they are also receiving the same support

Getting this support for £40 is still cheaper than having to pay £300 or more for new software

Support is currently available for AutoCAD LT 97 and AutoCAD 2000

If you have any queries feel free to email and ask
